Apple Festival 2012 UPDATE:

This  year's 66th Annual Apple Festival Window display contest theme was "Fruits of our Labor".  Tricky, eh?  Well, the Bears in Hendersonville have got mad skills--check it out!

It's a Hospital Nursery for baby Apples! Notice Dr. Bear and Nurse Penguin as well as the stork flying in with a "special delivery"!  In the second picture,  you can see the baby apples sleeping quietly in their apple crate beds under their hand-knitted blankies.  Soooooooooooooooooooooo Cute!!! Apparently, we were not the only ones to think so--we won First Place in the contest!  Hooray!  (It's our third year in a row!)  Special thanks to Donna, Sue, and Charlotte Bears!

From now until October 31st,  each time you spend $5.00 on Schleich you collect a special sticker.  After collecting six stickers, you get to choose a FREE baby animal--like Mr. Froggie here.
